Bringing Structure to Construction

At ProBuild, we approach projects with a combination of:

  • Engineering-level thinking
  • Clear planning before work begins
  • Structured coordination of trades
  • Consistent quality checks throughout the project

This is especially important for the type of work we specialize in: structural renovations, home additions, and outdoor living spaces.

Projects where homeowners want to open up walls, reconfigure layouts, or build something that integrates seamlessly with their existing home.

These are not projects where you want guesswork.

They require careful planning and execution.

Our 9 Step Process

From your first call to final closeout, every step is intentional. Here's exactly what to expect when you

work with ProBuild of the Carolinas.

1

Initial Contact

We respond quickly by phone and text to confirm your request and explain next steps.

2

Project Questionnaire

A short questionnaire (5–10

min) helps us understand your goals, identify key details, and determine project fit.

3

Consultation Call

Cody reviews your questionnaire and schedules a call to talk through your project, clarify goals, and determine next steps.

4

On-Site Estimate

Appointment

We meet in person to evaluate existing conditions, discuss design options, review scope, and identify structural or technical factors.

5

Estimate Development & Review

We never email estimates without discussion. We meet in person or over Zoom to walk through every

line item and answer your questions

6

Design & Planning (If Needed)

For complex projects, we coordinate with an architect or design partner and outline next steps for both design and construction planning.

7

Project Approval & Permits

Upon approval, we collect the deposit, begin preconstruction planning, and submit permits if required. Permits typically take 2–3

weeks.

8

Construction

We stay in regular contact with updates on progress, upcoming steps, inspections, and material

deliveries. John visits frequently during key transition points.

9

Final Walkthrough

& Completion

We complete a walkthrough, finalize

details, pass inspections, and provide closeout documentation.
